Today we added a new feature to our home page! We’ve removed the dropdown box containing the list of destinations in our search facility and replaced it with a ‘free-text’ search box. From here you’ll be able to type in the destination of your choice and as you’re typing, we’ll provide you with a list of matching suggestions to choose from – helping you create your stay, your way!

In addition to providing in-depth information on all of our hotels through our ‘Property Profile’ pages, we are pleased to announce the launch of our ‘City Profile’ pages. Here you’ll find some extra information about the destination of your choice with suggestions for "things to do", transport information and some interesting city facts!

Following a busy week in London at the World Travel Market, the CentralReservations.com team returned to Dublin tired but happy! Continuing its tradition, the ExCel Centre in London’s Canary Wharf district was a hub of activity for the duration of the trade show and visitors from all over the world attended.

Early reports from WTM officials indicate that the number of visitors increased by 12% this year and exhibitors from over 200 countries and regions around the world participated. In addition, there were almost 100 new exhibitors presenting this year and we are very proud to be included in that number!

Exhibiting at the WTM presented us with several excellent opportunities commented Philip Morris, Sales Executive at CentralReservations.com. Not only was it an ideal occasion for us to reacquaint ourselves with all of our existing clients, but it was a great opportunity to attend the travel industry seminars and introduce new clients to CentralReservations.com. Over the course of the week we succeeded in expanding our client base to include 750 additional properties in ten new countries which will enable us to bring an exciting range of hotel deals to our customers.

CentralReservations.com is delighted to announce the news of its recent membership to the IIA (Irish Internet Association). Established in 1997, the Irish Internet Association continues to reign as one of the driving forces behind the concept of conducting business online from Ireland. The primary focus of the IIA is to connect, inform and promote. In addition to this role, the IIA also provides leadership for both society and business in terms of using the internet as a medium for marketing, communication and commerce.

Having used CentralReservations.com to make a hotel reservation, customers are invited to rate their hotel on 5 important areas upon their departure:

In addition, they are invited to post an optional comment regarding their stay and describing their overall experience at the hotel.



When perusing the customer reviews for a hotel you are interested in, you can see at a glance the overall score the hotel has received and the number of reviews this score is based on. In addition, you can read the individual reviews left by each customer. Because our reviews are also categorised according to the ‘type’ of guest (for example; couples, individuals, families or groups), this means you can pay particular attention to the reviews left by fellow travellers you feel you are most similar to.

To read a hotel’s review, simply visit its ‘Profile’ page and click on the “Reviews” tab underneath the photograph.

Each property on the CentralReservations.com website has what we term a ‘Profile’ page. On this page is everything you need to know about a hotel, i.e., a dynamic map pinpointing its location, descriptive text, a photograph gallery and a booking tool.
The launch of our new tab interface means that it’s now even simpler for you to navigate your way around the page and find the information you are looking for!

Finding the right hotel on CentralReservations.com to suit your needs has just become even easier! Today we launched a new filtering tool which enables you to narrow down your set of search results and help you find exactly what you are looking for.
For example, if you search for a hotel in Dublin, our search results will display a list of all Dublin hotels with availability for the dates you specified. Using the filtering tool, you can then be more specific about your requirements. Perhaps you wish to only view four star Dublin hotels? Perhaps you are only interested in hotels in Dublin with leisure facilities? Perhaps you prefer to have breakfast included in your deal? Or perhaps you’d like a combination of the above? Using the filtering tool means you can do exactly that.


Refining your initial search is fast and very simple to achieve. Simply click on the panel links to the left of your page to refine your hotel search results and we’ll do the rest – leaving you with a list of available properties that meet your exact requirements. All that’s left for you to do is decide which one to book!

Now you’ve got the information you need, all that’s left to be done is decide on how to sort it! Today marks the introduction of our new sorting tool which enables you to order your search results according to the priority of your choosing.
For example, when you select your dates and destination, we generate a list of all hotels in that area offering the availability you require. You can then order this set of search results in accordance with the criteria is most important to you. If you are on a tight budget, simply sort by ‘Price: Lowest First’ and the cheapest deal will appear at the top of your list.
Similarly, not only can you sort by the hotel’s star rating but you can also choose to list your hotel search results in alphabetical (or reverse alphabetical) order.
