Customer service at reception was very poor - the basic requirement of making eye contact just did not happen!

Extremely disappointed with service if I could claim a refund I will,l no value for money. Bed not made when arrived staff complaining about being a slave, cancel reservation for an extra night because of inconvenience & being mislead on price

just a few steps to the tube
no answer for 14 days after reservation request. room in basement with no window. safe opend finally after 2 days complaining (personally, by phone, by e-mail), no armoir and no other space to hang up clothes, except a very small coat rack

Reception lost my reservation, the lights in the room were blown, housekeeping took all the towels and didnt replace them, no toilet paper was replaced. Reception people rude when asking for assistance and they kept deactivating our room keys.

It would be agood idea to let other guests know that the walls are thin and to turn of the light in the bathroom which also works the fan, as my neighbours left it on all night and it disturbed my sleep, as it is very noisy ie a little notice in
all rooms ( please respect the other guests and keep the noise down and turn off the bathroom lights and fan thank you.)

unaccomodating staff. lack of crockery at breakfast. some utter rubbish explained that your bed sizing was according to City and Guild regulations. £3 for a coffee in the bar. Mouldy bread at breakfast. twice. Compensated for by more ham?

The front desk were very helpful
The cleaners left empty cans and pizza boxes in our room for the during of the stay. When booking a double room we expected a double bed not 2 singles pushed together it made sleeping very uncomfortable as the beds kept parting.

We had a very nice room, and didn't have any major issues.
Took a little longer than we liked to have our electricity outlets working...they were not working when we arrived. But they did get fixed and it was great!

The hotel does not have air conditioning and when we stayed the temp was 40+ in the rooms. When we complained to the management on duty they could not understand our complaint (The duty manager had a poor grasp of English)Would not recommend the hotel

Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room is good value for the location.
Cleaning staff are great at cleaning, but otherwise awful. They shout at each other down the corridors at 8am. We had to tell them to stop arguing outside our hotel room whilst we were trying to sleep.\r\n\r\nThere\'s no left luggage facility.

The rooms are adequate, clean and value for money. I like the fact that you fridge in the room.
Staff did not engage at all and when I was checking in 1 of the reception staff was trying to check me in while answering phones. 3 other reception staff did not offer to help. \r\nThe walls are very thin and not well insulated against sound.
