Situated in the foothills of Erice, on a small hill not far from the town, the hotel Baglio Santacroce overlooks a splendid view of the gulf of Cornino and Mount Cofano.
The ancient rural building, that today is a part of the hotel, dates back to 1637 and once belonged to Baron Fallucca. Today it belongs to the Cusenza family, and thanks to their clever renovation works and exclusive furnishings, it has become a meeting place for lovers of tranquility and fine cuisine.
A new “Baglio has been built adjoining the ancient building which, while maintaining the style and design of the original house, has also increased the comfort and services of the hotel.
The hotel has 67 rooms, in some of which the earthenware floors and wooden beams have been preserved. The rooms are furnished with wrought iron beds and typical “Ericini” carpets and wooden ingot furniture.
They are all equipped with the following private services: telephone, television, safe and heating, while in the new “Baglio” there is increased comfort with the addition of air conditioning and mini-refrigerator.
The restaurant Baglio Santacroce offers fantastic authentic cuisine with a selection of typical Trapanese dishes.
To complete the services, Baglio Santacroce offers the following: bar, reception rooms, meeting room, TV room, reading room, swimming pool, solarium, panoramic terraces, large traditional Mediterranean gardens and private parking. |
